About this studio
Dance School Seifert is located at Saint-Julien-Straße 20 in Salzburg and offers dance courses for adults, teenagers, seniors, and wedding couples, as well as private instruction and workshops. The school positions itself as a meeting place for active leisure time, where dancing is shared with a partner in an elegant setting.
The school runs a flexible course structure with new courses starting every 4 weeks, allowing you to join at your own pace. For adults, progression levels run from Einsteiger (beginner) through TK1, TK2, TK3, TK4 and TK5. Courses require reservation to ensure quality and manage room capacity—those who don't reserve risk being moved to the active dance floor if a class reaches maximum occupancy.
Beyond structured courses, Seifert operates the "Dancing-Star" Bar, where you can dance daily from 18:30 onwards during the main season (October to June, 5–6 days per week). Summer hours (July to September) run three days a week: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. A daily membership costs €15 per person (€13 for customers without an active course); active course participants dance free. The bar hosts themed "Dance and Relax" evenings designed for practice, with occasional special events themed around music styles such as "Oldie's but Goldie's", "Latino Night", "Club", "Tanzen wie am Ballermann" and "Disco-Inferno". Some events feature live music.
The school is not a training venue for competitive dance couples in competition attire; it welcomes recreational dancers and friends of course members. Video recordings of live-streamed pair dance classes for adults are available in the video archive on the website. The school runs youth perfection events as separate offerings and offers gift vouchers.
