Nick Blumenfeld's Dance Studio has been teaching in Toulouse since 1992. The studio is located near the Balma-Gramont metro station, a short walk from the city centre in the Midi-Pyrénées region.
The studio offers regular classes in Modern Dance, Jazz, and Floor Barre, designed for adults and teens. Classes run from September through the academic year, with the 2025/26 season beginning Monday 1 September 2025. You can train in the studio itself or join online via Zoom, giving you flexibility whether you're in Toulouse or elsewhere. Online classes are taught in both English and French.
Workshops run throughout the year, bringing in visiting teachers, dancers and choreographers. Summer Dance Training takes place in July and August. Recent guest instructors have included Jaime Rogers (USA), a dancer in West Side Story with 8 Grammy Awards, 2 Tony Awards, and 9 George Awards who choreographed the TV series Fame and the film Breakin; Susan Moran (USA), dancer with the Doug Elkins Dance Company (Bessie Award winner) and co-director of international Pilates training; Ina Haybaeck-Rogers (Austria-USA), dancer, teacher and choreographer; Isabelle Carerre (France), Cuban salsa dancer and professor; and Ismérie Leveque (France), lyrical singer and professor.
The studio welcomes professional dancers, non-professionals, and absolute beginners. Reservation is required to attend. The studio also offers rehearsal space rental.
