About this studio
Dance Swing Club is a dance association based in Niederhausbergen, just outside Strasbourg, offering a broad range of styles to adult students aged 16 and up. The club teaches standard dances (Viennese waltz, tango, slow waltz, quickstep), Latin dances (samba, cha-cha, rumba, paso doble), and speciality styles including West Coast Swing, Bachata, Salsa, and Rock and Roll. They also offer lighter, more playful dances such as Madison, cumbia, twist, disco and line dancing.
Classes are held in a 300 m² bright and welcoming studio fitted with sprung parquet flooring, air conditioning, large mirrors, glass doors and quality sound equipment. The teaching approach emphasises conviviality, good humour, sympathy and enthusiasm. All instructors are specialists in their disciplines.
The club runs a "Toutes Danses" (all dances) discovery course for beginners, held on Wednesday evenings. Rock and Roll stages run during school holidays. They also offer dedicated courses for couples planning their wedding, with lessons available by appointment.
Beyond regular classes, Dance Swing Club organizes social events including an annual Gala and tea dances (thé dansant). The club also competes and produces video content of performances and classes.
