The studio specializes in Ballroom and Latin American styles, teaching Jive, Foxtrot, Boogie, Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, and Line Dancing. Group classes run Monday and Thursday with no partner required and no contracts. All ages are welcome, and classes offer fitness benefits alongside technique. Private lessons are also available, structured to individual needs and taught by internationally qualified teachers specializing in Associate and Licentiate Ballroom and Latin American styles.
Whether you're preparing for competition or social dancing, Dancelot caters to all levels. You can work on technique, musicality, partnering skills, and personalized choreography at your own pace. The studio also offers specialized wedding dance lessons: first dances for bride and groom, father and daughter dances, mother and son routines, line dances for bridesmaids and groomsmen, and group classes for family and friends.
Beyond regular classes, Dancelot runs monthly social dance events. The studio is affiliated with the Republic Dance Teachers Association, South African Dance Foundation, World Dance Council Amateur League, and International Dance Organisation. Operating hours are Monday to Friday 8am–10pm, Saturday 8am–8pm, and Sunday 8am–5pm.
