About this studio
Elite Revolution Dance Academy (ERDA) is run by Paul Steenkamp, owner, principal trainer and mentor. The studio teaches freestyle dance, slow dance, show dance, hip-hop, stretching, musical theatre, acrobatics, and both competitive and non-competitive work.
ERDA has built a competitive record: students currently hold 46 South African champion titles and Premp champion awards. Six of those are world champions in freestyle, slow dance, and show dance. The academy has secured 24 world qualifier positions, competing at world championships held in Blackpool, UK, and Croatia. Every student and freelance dancer has earned world colors, jackets, and certificates. All members were selected to represent the Gauteng team at the SA Championships and received Gauteng team jackets and SA jackets.
The studio operates Monday to Friday, 2–9 pm. It is located at the Soli Deo Gloria Hotel and Spa, 330A Boundary Road, North Riding, Randburg. The academy is described as a vibrant, inclusive space that celebrates diversity and welcomes students regardless of background.
Paul Steenkamp emphasises mentorship and personal growth alongside technical skill. The studio offers year-end shows, exams, and conditioning work. Classes are structured to help students reach their full potential as dancers and individuals.
