About this studio
Empowered Flow Studio is a sensual dance and movement studio in The Warehouse Block, downtown Lexington. The studio offers pole dance, Liquid Motion/floorwork, chair dance and tease, yoga, and complementary flow arts, alongside private instruction and group parties. All bodies are welcome here—no prior dance or movement experience is necessary to begin. The studio describes itself as a gender inclusive, sex positive, community space focused on helping students find empowerment and an increasing sense of body confidence and well-being.
The studio is Lexington's only pole dance studio with XPERT certified pole instructors. Students are able to personalize their training and areas of focus, since there are various types and styles of pole dance available, as well as multiple performance outlets. The studio evolved from a private training spot into its current full-scale operation at 839 National Avenue, Suite 120.
Classes run six days a week: Monday–Thursday 6pm–10pm, Friday 6:30pm–9pm, and Sunday 4pm–7pm. The studio offers an intro series (Pole Basics, 3 weeks, $75), drop-in classes, and memberships starting at $98 per month for 4 pole/aerial classes plus 2 open pole sessions. Private lessons are available at $70 per hour. Grounded/movement classes are priced separately, from $15 for a single class to packages of $42–$65 over two months.
Empowered Flow regularly hosts pole parties and chair dance parties for groups of 4–6 people, available Friday–Sunday 7pm–11pm. Basic parties are 75 minutes long. The studio is within walking distance of coffee, pastries, retail shops, bars and restaurants. Parking is plentiful, free, and safe.
