About this studio

Endicott Dance Academy sits at 82 Taunton Avenue in East Providence, Rhode Island, and teaches West Coast Swing, Salsa on 2, Bachata, Ballroom, K-pop, Hip Hop, and Cosplay Idols. The studio's mission is to offer high-quality, accessible dance instruction in a space where dancers feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn. They welcome all ages, genders, and skill levels, with the aim of helping people find their rhythm, build confidence, and connect through movement.

Group classes focus on patterns, footwork, and technique for both leading and following roles, with regular partner rotation (and opt-out options available). No partner is needed to join. The studio also offers private lessons—a personalized option where instruction is shaped around your goals, interests, and learning style, whether you're dancing solo or with a partner. Private lessons can support competition preparation, performance readiness, wedding dance choreography, or simply building confidence on the dance floor.

Endicott Dance runs regular featured events. Salsa Socials take place on the first Friday of each month from 8 to 11:30 pm, with a ladies' styling workshop from 8 to 9 pm led by Haley, followed by social dancing with DJ Juancho featuring Cumbia, Merengue, Salsa, Bachata, and Timba. West Coast Swing Socials happen on the second Friday of each month from 7 to 9 pm, starting with a 30-minute workshop and followed by 90 minutes of social dancing. A K-Pop Random Play Dance (RPD) runs on the last Saturday of each month from 6 to 8 pm, open to longtime K-pop fans and anyone who loves to dance, featuring short clips of different K-pop songs played at random. Special events have included themed experiences like the Dirty Dancing movie night with choreography, flash mob learning, themed snacks, a costume contest, and social dancing.

Movement Parties offer a different experience: high-energy, follow-the-leader dances with playful props and freestyle dancing, designed for people looking to move, laugh, and connect with no pressure. These are led by Mori Granot-Sanchez, an Integrative Dance Practitioner and certified trauma coach who brings a trauma-informed, inclusive approach to her teaching, encouraging self-expression and challenging traditional norms including gender roles in partner dancing. Mori is a trained salsa instructor, performer, and choreographer with a background performing nationally and internationally.

Wedding choreography is tailored to your relationship, music, and vision—whether you want something simple and confident or a custom-designed routine. The studio recommends starting a few months in advance. They also offer Quinceañeras, space rental, and gift certificates.
