Steps to Love Wedding Dances specializes in custom first-dance choreography for engaged couples in the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded and led by Erin Parsley, an award-winning professional dancer, choreographer, and certified relationship coach with over two decades of experience, the studio has choreographed wedding dances for more than 255 couples and taught over 5,000 dance classes.

Erin's background spans ballet, funk, disco, Bollywood, and ballroom. She has performed with companies including Labayen Dance/SF, Ballet Chicago, and Chicago Ballet, and trained at San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Broadway Dance Center. Her choreography has been featured in the Chicago Tribune and San Francisco Chronicle, and she received a CAAP Grant for Choreography from the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs. She holds certifications in the Somatica Method of sex and relationship coaching and incorporates Human Design into her client work.

The studio works with couples who have no dance experience—95% of clients fall into this category—and specializes in building not just dance skills but trust, connection, and emotional bonding. Each routine is custom-choreographed on the spot during sessions, tailored to reflect each couple's unique style. The signature process includes custom choreography, personalized instruction, music editing, practice videos, and a customized wedding-day production plan. Sessions are offered Monday–Thursday afternoons and evenings, and Saturdays; the studio is flexible with scheduling and works with clients from across the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento.

Instructor Diego Cruz Alvarez is a former Soloist with San Francisco Ballet with over 20 years of professional dance experience. Originally from Spain, he is fluent in Spanish. The studio is LGBTQ+-inclusive, anti-racist, and body-positive, with Spanish-language services available (se habla español).

Packages range from a $295 intro session (50 minutes) to the Wedding Dance Experience VIP at $2,795 (full-day, 6-hour session with guided couple's connection session and lunch). The Basic but Lovely is $1,795 (up to 3-minute dance, five 50-minute sessions); The Wowza is $2,395 (up to 4-minute dance, eight sessions); The Deluxe starts at $2,595 (multiple dances, wedding party dances, 6+ hours coaching).
