About this studio
Garabato - CubanDances has been teaching Cuban dance in Zürich for 23 years. The studio offers professional instruction across a wide range of styles: Salsa Cubana, Son, ChaChaCha, Mambo, Despelote, Reggaeton, Cuban Rumba, and Afro-Cuban dances. Their mission is to bring Cuban culture closer to their students.
Classes are structured by level. Beginners start with rhythmic foundations, basic steps, and simple turns in Salsa Anfängerkurs. Intermediate students (Salsa Mittelstufe) develop upper-body movement, hip work, and arm technique. Advanced students (Salsa Fortgeschrittene) work with complex footwork, rhythm mastery, leading technique, and turns. Beyond group classes, Garabato offers private lessons (Salsa-Privatstunden) where you choose the day, time, content, and frequency. They tailor courses to individual needs for faster, more efficient learning.
