About this studio
Giggle Wiggle Swing ASD was founded in 2019 as a cultural association by Valeria Bonfanti, becoming a registered sports association (Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica) in June 2021. The studio's mission is to spread the culture of swing and jazz dance, bringing back the energy and style of American social dances from the 1920s to 1950s.
The studio teaches Lindy Hop, Solo Jazz, Boogie Woogie, Charleston, Tip Tap, Balboa, Shag and Jitterbug across three locations in Milano: Teatro Martinitt, Fabbrica del Vapore, and Danzando ASD. Classes are offered for all levels. Beyond regular courses, Giggle Wiggle Swing runs social dance evenings and swing events, hosts workshops with national and international instructors, and organises cultural activities focused on jazz and swing history.
Valeria Bonfanti leads the school and is noted by students for her high level of preparation and ability to transmit her passion for swing dance. The studio's philosophy centres on enjoyment, smiling and community—the idea that dancing swing is a shared joy and a way of life built on connection, freedom and energy.
Alongside its swing programme, Giggle Wiggle Dance School operates in the areas of Trezzo sull'Adda and Trezzano Rosa, offering Pilates, gymnastics for adults and modern dance for children and teenagers. These classes focus on movement as a form of wellbeing and personal growth.
