About this studio
Isola Latina International Dance Academy teaches Latin, Caribbean, ballroom and fitness dance across multiple locations, with classes for all ages and levels. Their core offer spans Latin American styles (rumba, samba, cha cha cha, jive, fox-trot), Caribbean dances (salsa, bachata, merengue, konpa, kizomba, reggaeton), ballroom and swing (boogie woogie, Lindy Hop, tango argentino and milonga), plus fitness classes (zumba, yoga, pilates). They run a dedicated Over 60 programme called Dance Your Life, and offer children's classes in a creative, safe environment. All group classes welcome solo participants—you don't need to sign up as a couple—and there are no age restrictions.
Private lessons are available for individuals and couples who want dedicated instruction. The academy runs open days, performances and special community events throughout the year. You can try classes for free before committing.
Beyond the studio, Isola Latina hosts social events and themed nights. On Thursdays at Motus Club (Viale Lombardia 20, Milano) they run zumba, group dances, bachata and salsa sessions. Every Sunday evening there is a Serata Latina from 22:00 to 01:00 featuring salsa, bachata and reggaeton. These social events let you apply what you learn in class to a real dance floor.
The school emphasises qualified instruction, a welcoming and family-like atmosphere, and a focus on personal growth and wellbeing alongside technical skill. The breadth of styles and the mix of classes, socials and private tuition means there is something for complete beginners as well as dancers with prior experience.
