Glow Dance is a community-focused dance and fitness studio in Fitzroy North, housed at Level 1, 8/252 St Georges Road (enter via Fergie Street). New students are recommended to start with Clubbercise, offered Mondays at 7.30pm and Fridays at 6.30pm—classes in a darkened room with achievable repetitive moves, glow sticks, and dance-floor anthems. Ally is a retro music fanatic who discovered latin dance fitness through Zumba in the early days and created her own retro dance fitness classes; she completed group exercise training in 2015 with pioneer fitness instructors, opening the door to freestyle aerobics. Catalina started dancing as soon as she could walk and formally from age 8 with a traditional Colombian dance group; she teaches Zumba and latin dancing. Yuki started dancing at a very young age (her mother was a dance fitness instructor) and performed at the pre-opening ceremony of Japan's Universal Studios in 2000; she teaches Zumba, Zumba Kids, Zumba Gold, Zumba Toning, Kids Jazz and Kids Hip Hop.

Glow Dance also offers kids parties for ages 5+, available Saturday and Sunday at 1.00pm–2.30pm, 3.30pm–5.00pm, and Sunday at 11.00am. Each party includes a 5-minute greeting, 60 minutes of dancing, and 25 minutes for food and birthday cake, with a dedicated dining area separate from the dance floor. Cost is $40 per child (minimum 12, maximum 28 children). The studio provides tablecloths, plates, cups, napkins and cutlery, plus printable invitations. Optional catering includes fruit platters, vegetable sticks and dips, fairy bread, cheese and cold meats, popcorn and chips, party pies, sausage rolls, cheese and spinach rolls, rice crackers, and water at $15 per child. Kids under 4 can join the dancing at no additional charge. The party features a party starter dance class, silent disco with individual headsets, disco lighting, and exclusive use of the studio. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before incur no fee; within 24 hours, a $100 cancellation fee applies.

The business was founded by Kate, who brings a professional career of over 26 years as an Architect to her creative and practical oversight of Glow Dance.
