About this studio
Kizomba Hannover is run by Dawid Ludkiewicz, who has been teaching kizomba since the end of 2015. His approach, called Kizomba Essenz, emphasises the connection between you and your partner through movement that is grounded in your own body.
Dawid brings a deep movement background to his teaching. At 26, he began dancing Salsa and Bachata, and has since explored WingTsun, Yoga, Tai-Chi, Qi-Gong, Afro Contemporary, and dance therapy. This range of practice informs his philosophy: that every movement is part of who you are, and kizomba is the movement that connects it all. He draws regular inspiration from international kizomba artists including Laurent Yishu, JP & Stephy, and movers such as Mitchell Provence and Ido Portal.
The studio offers continuous group classes, workshops, bootcamps, private tuition, and movement coaching. Whether you are learning for the first time or refining your technique, the aim is to help you understand kizomba not just as steps, but as a way to be present in your body and your day. Classes are held at Zur Bettfedernfabrik 1 in Hannover.
Dawid's teaching is rooted in the idea that kizomba can help you leave your everyday stress behind, manage life better, move with greater quality, and bring positive influence to all areas of your life. You can arrange a trial class through his website or by phone.
