About this studio

Kizomba Kirevs is run by Enrico and Roberta, dance instructors who have taught kizomba and Semba in Bologna since 2014. They fell in love with kizomba years ago, then became passionate about Semba. Their approach is to teach the dances genuinely, staying alert to how the styles evolve, and they work with all levels of student — from complete beginners through to advanced dancers.

They teach all styles within the kizomba family: kizomba, kizomba fusion, Semba, Kuduro, Afro House and Lady Styling. But they emphasize that technique alone isn't enough. Musicality — understanding the music and moving with it — is central to how they teach, because it's so tightly bound to these dances. They focus not just on figures and combinations, but on helping you hear and feel the rhythm.

The studio is based in Casalecchio di Reno, just outside Bologna. You can find videos of their teaching and dancing on their website at kirevs.it/video.html, which gives a sense of their style and energy. They welcome new students and run classes at different levels.
