About this studio
La Perla – El Salón is an Argentine Tango studio in the heart of Bern's old town, founded in June 2013 by Camille Marie Yannantuono and Valentino Sorpresi. The studio offers tango culture in multiple forms: courses from beginner to Tango Aficionado level, monthly practicas, six different milongas, international guest teachers, tango holidays, tango cinema nights, and a Tango Aficionado Club.
The studio prioritises intimate connection, respectful communication, and authentic music interpretation. You can expect a serious approach to the dance and a welcoming atmosphere for both newcomers and experienced dancers.
Beyond regular classes, La Perla hosts concerts, workshops with international artists, and special events. Recent programming has included workshops on musicality (Musicalität) led by international instructors, followed by live tango concerts and aperitivo gatherings with performers.
