Moova Dance & Entertainment was founded in Orlando, Florida by Miguel A. Pereira and Laura Gomez with a mission to build a safe, welcoming, and family-oriented space where people of all ages and backgrounds can experience the joy of dance. Rooted in Colombian heritage and inspired by vibrant Latin traditions, the studio is passionate about preserving and sharing the art of Salsa Caleña while offering a variety of dance experiences for adults, youth, families, and organizations.
The studio teaches Salsa Caleña (Cali-style salsa), Salsa On2, Bachata, and Latin Rhythms across different levels. Class schedules run Tuesday through Thursday evenings, with a Kids/Youth Dance Program on Tuesday and Thursday from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. Adult classes include Salsa Caleña Basic 1 (Tuesdays 7:30–8:30 PM), Caleño Shines Intermediate (Tuesdays 8:30–9:30 PM), Bachata open level (Wednesdays 7–8 PM), Salsa On2 open level (Wednesdays 8–9 PM), Salsa Caleña Basic 2 (Thursdays 7:30–8:30 PM), and Caleña Partnerwork Intermediate (Thursdays 8:30–9:30 PM). Private and semi-private lessons are available in Salsa Caleña, Salsa On2, Bachata, and wedding dance preparation.
Beyond classes, Moova Dance offers quinceañera and wedding choreography, personalized dance coaching, performance training opportunities, and corporate team-building dance sessions. The studio also provides live dance entertainment including Salsa shows, Latin fusion performances, and cultural dance presentations for weddings, quinceañeras, birthdays, corporate events, and community celebrations. They offer La Hora Loca party animation with high-energy crowd entertainment and Latin, tropical, and party music vibes. Additional event services include professional dancers, custom themed performances, photo booth collaborations, and social media content moments. The studio is available for space rental and provides cultural dance activations and classes for schools, community centers, and private groups.
