About this studio

Movement Bergen operates from Era Life Center in central Bergen, offering yoga, meditation, healing guidance and ecstatic dance. The studio is led by Peder Kleppe, who creates what he describes as a safe space where you can be yourself without pressure to perform perfectly.

Peder's teaching draws on his own journey. In 2009, at 18, he experienced a profound shift toward meditation and spiritual practice. He has since completed formal training: 100 hours in Yin Yoga through Axelsons, 200 hours through YogaWorks, and experience teaching at multiple studios in Bergen. From 2019 to 2022 he ran JærYoga on Jæren, combining yoga with surfing. He also trained as a healer, starting at Ametysten in Bergen in 2017, and has completed multiple meditation retreats.

The regular schedule includes Yoga Flow on Monday evenings (18:00–19:30), Morning Ecstatic Dance on alternate Wednesdays (08:30–09:30), and Era Open Space on alternate Wednesdays (09:30–10:30). Beyond group classes, Peder offers one-to-one healing and life guidance sessions combining conversation, guidance, silence and music, as well as private and group meditations and yoga for individuals, schools and businesses.

Peder's approach emphasises gentle exploration of the present moment rather than performance or achievement. He works with yoga, movement, meditation and ecstatic dance, framing these practices as ways to explore deeper presence and what he calls your "true nature". The studio is situated at Era Life Center, Vestre Torggaten 22 in the 5015 postcode area.
