About this studio
Nice Danse is a dance club in Nice that teaches both ballroom and Latin styles. They offer classes in Standard dances (Waltz, Tango, Slow Foxtrot, Quick Step, Viennese Waltz) and Latin dances (Samba, Cha-cha-cha, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive), as well as Salsa and Bachata. The club runs group classes and private lessons for dancers at all levels, from those dancing purely for leisure to those preparing for competition.
The studio hosts children's classes every Friday and organizes summer stages for younger dancers. Beyond regular teaching, Nice Danse is known for running competitive events: they organize the French Riviera Cup, which has run multiple editions, and provide a pathway for competitors aiming at the French Championship (Championnat de France). They also offer demonstrations for weddings and other occasions.
The club is registered with the FFD (French Dance Federation) and requires members to complete a license form to participate in competitions. They maintain a structured calendar and provide video content of student performances and competitive results. The studio operates with an emphasis on ballroom and Latin dance as both recreational activity and competitive sport.
