The studio is run by two teaching pairs: Erwin and Monika, who founded Onda to help students step out of routine with clear structure and strong foundations; and Djoy and Cristian, who focus on creating an environment where learning is fun and challenges feel motivating.
Classes are structured by level. The studio offers Bachata Sensual and Bachazouk at Intermediate, Semi-advanced, and Advanced levels. Beginner courses are available for those starting from zero experience. Students consistently praise the detailed technical explanations—instructors break down footwork and combinations in ways that stick, and they're equally comfortable working with absolute beginners as with advanced dancers.
You don't need a partner to start. Most students join solo, and partner work is built into classes so you can practise with others in the room, including the instructors themselves. Classes mix technique, styling, and practical moves you can use on the social dance floor straight away. Teachers move through the room, give personal feedback, and keep the atmosphere relaxed and humorous.
First-time visitors can try a class before committing. After your first class, you join the WhatsApp community for practical updates and information about upcoming sessions.
