About this studio

Revolucion del Cuerpo is one of Romania's most renowned schools for Afro-Latino-Caribbean dance. Based in Piața Bucur in the Pionierul complex in Bucharest's Budapesta zone, the studio teaches Salsa, Bachata, Cha-cha-cha, Kizomba, Merengue, Rueda de Casino, Pachanga, Body Movement, Rumba Cubana, and Afro-Cuban styles, alongside courses in Latin rhythms and instrumentation.

Classes run Monday to Thursday from 19:00–21:00 and Friday from 20:00–22:00. The school offers a free trial class for newcomers. Students praise the teaching method as dynamic and relaxed, centred on each person's progress rather than classical, formulaic instruction. The four instructors are described repeatedly by students as passionate, charismatic, and deeply engaged—mentors who teach technique but also instil love for dance and music itself.

The studio sits seven minutes' walk from metro stations Unirii, Tineretului, or Timpuri Noi. Entry is through the Pionierul complex corridor with a doorbell on the left. Access from outside is limited, so ringing the bell is necessary to enter.

Beyond classes, the studio runs weekly social dance nights where students gather to practise and celebrate together. Student testimonials emphasise how the studio has become a place of friendship, stress relief, and joy—a space where the vibration of afro-latino-american rhythms elevates daily life. One student remarked: "Revolucion del Cuerpo has united us under the same banner of friendship and love for dance, music and rhythm."
