About this studio
Reyhan offers private coaching in oriental dance (orientalische Tanzkunst) under the direction of Reyhan Seward, working from spaces at Praxis Seward in Frankfurt. The coaching is tailored to students at Master level and above, focusing on performance technique and artistic development rather than beginner instruction.
The program covers multiple dimensions of oriental dance performance: Sharqi, Baladi, and Folklore styles, with detailed attention to stage presence and audience engagement (Bühnenwirksamkeit). Coaching addresses identifying your own technical level, adapting to different performance contexts, and systematic revision and improvement of technique. Reyhan also covers specialist music knowledge (spezielle Musikkunde) and costume knowledge (Kostümkunde) to develop a complete performance vocabulary.
Sessions are available one-to-one or in small groups, arranged by appointment. Coaching is supported by video feedback and telephone consultation between sessions to help refine what you are working on. The focus is on practice and polish (Üben und Feilen des Erarbeiteten), with tips and help troubleshooting problems as they arise.
Reyhan Seward also offers separate professional coaching in aesthetic medicine, including thread-lifting techniques and materials for practitioners and doctors, but the dance offering is the primary focus here.
