About this studio
Ritmo la Vida — meaning "the Rhythm of Life" — is a ballroom, Latin and social dance studio in Sundowner, founded in 2008 by Ali and Belinda Anderson. Built on the belief that dancing is a universal language and a powerful form of expression, the studio offers a safe, fun-filled and positive environment where quality dancing is taught at the unique level of each student. Lessons span Ballroom & Latin, Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba and Argentine Tango.
The studio welcomes anyone who wants to dance regardless of age, ability or experience, framing itself as a supportive "Ritmo la Vida familia" where students step away from everyday stressors and find solace through movement. Students regularly compete and excel at both local and international competitions.

Your first visit
Beginners of any age and experience level are welcome. Lessons are booked in advance via the studio's online booking form, where you select a dance category (Ballroom & Latin, Salsa/Bachata/Kizomba, or Argentine Tango). Expect a warm, encouraging atmosphere focused on enjoyment and progress tailored to each individual.

Who teaches here
Owner Ali Anderson is a former South African Ballroom champion trained at the FJT School of Dance, with experience at Fred Astaire and other studios. Business partner Pule Seleki is a versatile Ballroom, Latin, Salsa and Kizomba instructor and a Line Dancing World Champion (2017, Blackpool/Nashville).

Founded in 2008 by Ali and Belinda Anderson, who bought over the established Rhythm Dance Studios and rebranded it as Ritmo la Vida.
