About this studio
Rockswing06 is a swing dance school based in Vallauris in the Alpes-Maritimes, specialising in American swing styles. They teach Lindy Hop, Balboa, Solo Swing, and West Coast Swing. Lindy Hop, Balboa and Solo Swing are danced to swing music; West Coast Swing is danced to modern music including RnB, Pop Rock, Acoustique, and Funky styles.
The school is run by Natasha Devyatkina and Olivier Harouard, who have 18 years of international career experience and are described as the most titled dancers in the entire PACA region. The teaching team are dancers, artists, choreographers, trainers, competitors, judges, and festival organisers.
Rockswing06 offers group classes, private lessons, show teams, and wedding dance tuition. Group classes run across different levels. A trial class is free for new students or those trying a new style for the first time. Regular class prices are €12 per class paid on the spot, €100 per trimester for one class per week, or €265 per year for one class per week. The school is located at 37 chemin du Puissanton, Vallauris, within the My Fitnest facility.
The school organizes regular social events and weekend festivals. Upcoming events include a swing evening on 27 September, a Lindy Hop Weekend from 7 to 9 March 2025 (with dedicated Lindy Hop and West Coast Swing rooms), and a Balboa Weekend from 29 to 31 May 2026 that includes accommodation, meals, classes and evening social dances with guest instructors Fancy and Albert alongside Natasha and Olivier.
