About this studio
Salsa n Fun runs classes and events across two Düsseldorf locations: Flingern (Erkrather Str. 234b, in the Event-Theater Schwanenhöfe) and Gerresheim (Dreherstraße 213A). The studio teaches Salsa and Bachata at all levels, with recent course additions including Bachata Musicality + Bodymovement + Footwork and Bachata Ladystyling, all offered as 4-week programmes.
The teaching team is led by Fadi, the founder, who brings over 20 years of experience in Standard, Latin, Salsa and Bachata. He has appeared on German television (ZDF, VOX, Warner Brothers, TNT) and specialises in Salsa and Bachata. Anna, another instructor, combines 6 years of Standard, Latin and Modern Dance with 9 years in Salsa and Bachata, plus hip-hop training under Detlev D! Soost. Over 3,000 dancers have trained at the studio.
Beyond regular classes, Salsa n Fun runs a strong events programme. Monthly Bachata Heaven parties occur every fourth Friday, featuring Sensual, Fusion and Moderna styles with outdoor dance floors in good weather. The Salsa & Sensual Party runs every two months as an open-air event. A full-day Halloween Festival on 31 October includes 5 workshops and a big Bachata party. Bootcamps are also offered, such as the Bachata Bootcamp (15 August) which includes a 1-hour practice party. Event prices start from €15 for parties and €40 for bootcamps.
Special services include wedding dance lessons tailored to your song, hen and stag parties (Junggesellenabschied), team-building events and Christmas parties for companies, and private one-to-one coaching. The studio can host events for groups from 5 to over 50 people, either at their studios or at client locations, and can arrange multiple instructors for larger groups.
