About this studio

Stephanie Stevenson's Latin Dance Studio, located at 10427 Burbank Blvd in North Hollywood, teaches salsa, bachata, merengue, and related Latin styles to women, children, and mixed partnering groups. The studio is run by Stephanie Stevenson, known as "The Princess of Salsa," an undefeated Women's Solo Champion with over 30 years of experience who has performed, taught, and choreographed in over 30 countries worldwide. She recently performed at Super Bowl LIX alongside Bad Bunny, and her choreography credits include Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance.

The studio offers classes across multiple levels and formats. Salsa 1 (formerly Back to Basics) welcomes newcomers and teaches foundational steps. Salsa 2 is designed for dancers ready to refine technique and add stylish flair. Salsa 3 targets advanced dancers working on complex routines and intricate footwork. Salsa Partnering is a beginner-friendly mixed class focused on leading, following, and essential dance steps—no experience necessary. All women's and children's classes are women-only except for the partnering class.

Beyond traditional salsa instruction, the studio offers Salsa Fit, an energetic full-body workout program developed by Stephanie Stevenson that blends authentic Latin dance with conditioning. Salsa Jam is a high-cardio follow-along class featuring salsa, merengue, bachata, rumba, reggaeton, and more. Muévelo Mondays, Level Up Wednesdays, and Back to Basics are regular recurring sessions.

The Salsera Dance Team is an inclusive community for women and girls committed to advancing their dance. Team members learn multiple choreographies throughout the season for professional video shoots shared on Stephanie's social media, and receive unlimited access to the studio's live classes and recordings. The Salsa Kids program (ages 5–14) teaches salsa, bachata, reggaeton, and merengue in a playful, engaging environment. The Salsa Kids Team takes young dancers further, building confidence and strong friendships through performance and mentorship from older dancers. Stephanie Stevenson also founded the Stephanie Stevenson's Kids & Teens Latin Dance Convention.

The studio is open Monday–Friday 8:00 am–8:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am–7:00 pm, and Sunday 9:00 am–9:00 pm. All levels are welcome; no prior dance experience is necessary for most classes.
