About this studio

St. Clair Ballroom is a private event venue on the 4th floor of the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower. It accommodates up to 300 guests, or 200 when a dance floor is included. The space overlooks Lake Erie and the Cleveland skyline; by day you see the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and by night the architectural uplights of downtown create a dramatic backdrop.

The venue includes tables, chairs, basic linens, china, silverware, glassware, wait staff, cake cutting service, and an on-site event manager. There is a stylish bar for cocktail hours. An executive chef designs bespoke menus—options include Filet Mignon with Mustard Demi-Glace, Crab Stuffed Rainbow Trout with Horseradish Crumb, Split Lobster Tail with Citrus Beurre Blanc, handmade Pasta Bolognese, and Smoked BBQ Brisket. An executive pastry chef prepares desserts. The in-house sommelier curates wines and craft cocktails.

Hors d'oeuvres offerings include Shrimp Thai Summer Rolls with Rainbow Vegetables and Spicy Peanut Sauce, Smoked Beet Tartar with Honey Goat Cheese on Belgian Endive, Oyster Shooters with Honey Dijon Lime Aioli, Roquefort Crostini with Candied Black Walnuts and Sour Cherry Jam, and Wagyu Beef Satay with Chimichurri sauce.

The venue hosts weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, corporate events, family reunions, birthday parties, and other social celebrations. Professional event planners coordinate each event. Valet parking is available at the front; self-parking options are also offered. The 2026 wedding calendar is open for bookings.
