About this studio
Dime Que Sí is a non-profit dance school in Lyon's 8th arrondissement, founded in 2011 to promote social dances including salsa, bachata and kizomba. The school is built around group classes, social events and instructor training.
Classes run in groups of 25 to 35 people maximum in a dance studio with wooden floor and mirrors. The teaching covers multiple styles within each genre. In bachata, you can learn modern sensual (sensual) and traditional (Dominican) forms. Kizomba classes include urban kiz, kizomba and semba. Salsa tuition spans Cuban and timba styles. The school also offers workshops and new styles alongside the core programme.
Beyond weekly classes, Dime Que Sí runs Latin and Afro social nights where students can dance salsa, bachata and kizomba in a social setting. Group outings are organised regularly with students and instructors to put classwork into practice on the dance floor. The school creates dance performances and productions that involve students.
Private lessons are available alongside the collective classes. The school operates a discovery period for new students. You can contact the team by phone (12:00–19:00) or visit reception during classes. The studio is accessible by Metro D (Mermoz Pinel) or Tram T6 (Mermoz Moselle).
