About this studio
Tango Connection München has been teaching Argentine Tango in Munich since 2000. The school offers a structured progression of classes: Anfängerkurs (beginner), Mittelstufe (intermediate), and Technikstunden (technique classes). They also run Multilevel Tango Technik Training, Vals & Milonga classes, and Tango U35 for younger dancers.
Beyond classes, the studio hosts regular social dancing. Milonga Loca is their signature milonga event, run with DJ Furia and guest instructor Nati Fures. They also organize Práctica Loca, a practice session for dancers to work on what they've learned. The studio runs themed workshops — past offerings have included sessions with guest instructor Noelia Hurtado.
The studio is known for its extended connection to Argentine culture. Martha Giorgi, celebrated as a key figure in the school's 25-year history, leads their tango holiday programs. These immersive trips take dancers to Buenos Aires and the surrounding region: options include spring in Argentina, summer trips, and Easter travel combining Buenos Aires with Iguazú.
Milonga Loca also partners with Carlos Quilici for dedicated milonga events. The school's philosophy is captured in their tagline: "TANGO is connection." With a 5.0 Google rating from 23 reviews, the studio has built a strong reputation among Munich's tango community.
