Studio 1 is approximately 100 m² with a height of 3.6 m, featuring a professional dance floor, mirror wall, and music system with mixing desk and laptop connection. It is available for rent Monday to Sunday in four-hour slots at CHF 50 per slot, with three time options: 09:00–13:00, 13:30–17:30, and 18:00–22:00. Studio 2 (approximately 115 m²) is reserved primarily for residencies but can be rented on weekends by request; it has a professional dance floor with black dance carpet, blackout capability, and the same audio equipment. Studio 3 (approximately 100 m²) is offered free of charge to Tanzhaus artists (Kompliz:innen) and professional dancers from Zürich for rehearsal and research purposes, and accommodates professional training instructors. It has a professional dance floor with black dance carpet and music system, but no mirror wall.
Bühne 1 (the main stage) is reserved for the Tanzhaus programme and seats approximately 120 people on a tribune; the stage surface is about 13 by 12 metres at a height of 6 metres. Bühne 2 is a larger professional stage (approximately 392 m²) at a height of 6 metres, suitable for professional training, rehearsals, co-productions, workshops, panels, and performances; it is rentable for external events on weekends by request.
Access is via tram lines 17, 50, or 51 to Löwenbräu (about 500 metres walk) or Limmatplatz (about 750 metres), bus lines 46 to Lettenstrasse (about 250 metres) or 32 to Limmatplatz, or S-Bahn S24 to Wipkingen station (about 700 metres). Bicycle parking is available around the building. The facility emphasises public transport use. Reception is open Monday to Friday, 09:00–13:00. The venue is wheelchair accessible: training rooms, changing areas, entrance, and the Nude café/bar are all wheelchair-friendly, as are the WCs. A lift provides access at Wasserwerkstrasse 129. For wheelchair users requiring a parking space, advance notice should be given.
