Tempo Dance Center

Tempo Dance Center is a franchised dance school based in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, with two additional locations across the Middle East. The studio has been operating for over 15 years and serves more than 10,000 students across all three branches.

The school's approach is built on three pillars: Fun, Fitness and Fulfillment. Classes are designed to encourage creativity, discipline and independent thinking, catering to young people aged three through to adults. They run seven days a week with flexible, customised programs tailored to each student's goals and schedule.

Tempo's instructors are professional dancers and championship winners. The studio offers a wide range of styles including Salsa, Bachata, Argentinian Tango, Kizomba, Belly Dance, Dabkeh, Latin Dance, Ballroom, Yoga and Ballet (for kids and teens). They also specialise in Wedding Dance choreography. Whether you are new to dance or working to refine existing technique, classes are structured for all ability levels.

Dancing at Tempo serves multiple purposes: as exercise (burning calories comparable to walking or swimming), as stress relief through flowing movements, and as a social experience. The school emphasises that dance improves flexibility, strength and stamina, builds confidence and self-esteem, and helps develop social and communication skills—particularly valuable for shy children or those new to group settings.

The team includes Jhon Lucumi (Salsa Instructor), Shayma (Belly Dance Instructor), and Waheed Al Masri (Argentinian Tango instructor). All instructors are characterised by individual artistic profiles based on experience in various areas of dance pedagogy, including work with children and international dancing careers.
