About this studio
Timbao is a dance school dedicated to salsa and related partner dances, located at Kosovska 20, 4th floor, in the Borbe building in central Belgrade. They teach salsa, bachata, kizomba, and bachata lady style, with both group classes and private lessons available.
The school runs beginner salsa groups where no prior dance experience is required and you don't need to bring a partner. First classes are free. They also run a senior dance group on Friday and Sunday at 18:00 for dancers over 50. Programmes include individual tuition, private lessons, team building, first dance preparation for couples, and bachata lady style to develop technique and movement.
The studio hosts salsa parties every week. They also offer studio rental — the central location near Republic Square has good public transport links and substantial parking nearby. Both dance rooms feature ballet bars, optional soft flooring, UV air sterilization, air conditioning, fans, and separate bathrooms. Special rental rates apply for sessions before 12 PM and throughout August.
