About this studio

Pole Dance Akademija was founded in June 2013 as Belgrade's first registered sports club dedicated to aerial disciplines. The studio was created by Jelena Tašin, her husband Uroš, and Nela with a mission to transform how people view pole dance — not just as an art form, but as a sport, a lifestyle, and a powerful tool for physical and mental transformation. Since its founding, the academy has grown to become a centre where professionalism and passion converge, creating space for individuals who want to push both physical and mental boundaries.

The studio offers classes in pole dance, aerial hoop, hammock, and related aerial disciplines across multiple difficulty levels and age groups. A free trial class is available in any of these styles — you can book by calling 062/241510 (voice, SMS, WhatsApp, Viber or Telegram). Individual sessions are also available on request through the same contact number.

The teaching team includes 17 named instructors with specialisms ranging across pole dance, exotic, stretch, aerial hoop, hammock, aerial yoga, pole flow, handstand, pole fit, booty workout, heels, and pole soul. Head trainer and owner Jelena Tašin teaches pole dance, exotic and stretch; other senior instructors include Katarina Rakić (aerial hoop), Anja Jovanović KAI (pole dance, pole flow), and Anja Jovanović RG (aerial hoop, hammock, pole dance). The roster extends to specialists such as Lesya Gincher (aerial yoga, exotic hard, stretch), Julia Fedorova (exotic, exotic tricks, frame up, stretch), and Miran Gojić (handstand, pole dance, pole fit, booty workout).

The academy occupies 250 square metres of dedicated training space. The studio actively participates in and hosts competitions and training courses — recent highlights include Julia Fedorova's 3rd place finish at Exotic Generation Greece 2024, and appearances by trainers Miran and Anja on the talent show Supertalent. The studio has also run specialist courses such as Exotic Course 1 and Exotic Course 2 with visiting instructor Lesya Gincher.
