World of Dances is run by Julie Buckeye, a performer, educator and athlete with decades of experience leading programmes, events and classes. Julie's background spans competitive running and triathlon, which informs her approach to body mechanics and recovery. Her dance journey includes Belly, Greek, Hawaiian, Latin and Bollywood styles, and she has a childhood passion for folk dances and Middle Eastern Dance that continues to shape her teaching. She is a certified yoga instructor trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative yoga.
The studio teaches dance, yoga, BalloFlex and Dance Fusion across all ages, sizes, and ability levels. Classes are designed around what Julie calls her core belief: "No one dances like you." You can expect private lessons tailored to your specific goals, whether that's mastering a routine, building flexibility or finding balance through yoga. Julie's teaching philosophy centres on individualized instruction and creating a supportive, nurturing environment for exploration and growth.
Beyond regular classes, World of Dances runs themed children's parties (Hip Hop Party and Lights, Camera, Action! with themes including Bollywood Dreams, Hawaiian Luau, Latin Flair, Swing Dance and Belly Dance Fusion), bridal parties with custom choreography and playlists, and corporate events featuring yoga, Dance, BalloFlex and meditation alongside sound therapy and restorative sessions. The studio also offers the Blooms programme, which weaves positive affirmations into creative movement.
World of Dances serves Summit County and surrounding areas in Northeast Ohio and is happy to travel to your preferred location. The business operates from 1835 4th Street in Cuyahoga Falls with office hours Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm and Friday 8am–12pm. You can pay via Cash App, Venmo, Zelle or cash.
