Overview

Swing dance camp founded in 1982 in the seaside village of Herräng, Sweden, described on its own site as "one of the world's largest and longest-running swing dance camp". It runs as a month-long international festival divided into four weekly sessions of classes, social dancing and live music, rooted in "Swedish and American jitterbug dancing interspersed with a peppering of Lindy Hop influences" and celebrating "Harlem swing dancing of the jazz era". A teaching institution and promoter, not a sanctioning or examining body.
