Overview
Swiss national federation formally established in 1983, with predecessor organisations dating to 1961, and recognised in 1987 as "als einziger Schweizer Rock'n'Roll Verband" (Switzerland's sole Rock'n'Roll federation). It states that it "organisiert und foerdert die Tanzsportarten Rock'n'Roll, Boogie-Woogie und Lindy-Hop vom Amateur- bis zum Leistungssportniveau" - organises and promotes Rock'n'Roll, Boogie-Woogie and Lindy Hop from amateur to elite level. A WRRC member since 1984, with around 30 affiliated clubs.
