Biography
Kira Noire is a Russian pole dancer, instructor and judge whose career exemplifies the path from adult beginner to internationally recognized competitor and performer. Beginning pole dance in 2008 in St. Petersburg without prior professional dance or gymnastics training, she started teaching and competing after approximately two years of practice. Her early competition record established her across multiple disciplines: fourth place and first runner-up at Miss Pole Dance Russia in 2012, followed by victory and the Miss Attitude award at Battle of the Pole in Stockholm in 2013. In 2014 she won Pole Art Cyprus. The following year, Noire formed a doubles partnership with Evgeny Greshilov; together they won the doubles category at the 2015 International Pole Championship in Hong Kong. In 2016 Noire won the Pole Classic at Pole Expo in Las Vegas, a victory documented on her official channel that reveals her integration of large release skills, inversion control, floor transitions and musical phrasing with character work. Beginning in 2017, Noire and Greshilov performed as pole artists with the Leningrad Centre dance-circus show. She has since established herself as a traveling international instructor across pole sport, pole art, doubles and exotic-pole disciplines, while also serving as a competition judge and maintaining an active presence through teaching profiles and online performance documentation.
