Plon, Nourrit et Cie., 1889), illustrated by Jules Garnier; 233 illustrations, xii + 336 pp. (National Library of Ireland record vtls000627652; Metropolitan Museum of Art object 726717). The 1890 Chapman & Hall printing is the first English edition, not the first edition.
