Maia Wechsler and former Cunningham dancer Lise Friedman document the bodily transmission of RainForest from Meg Harper, Rashaun Mitchell, and Andrea Weber to the Stephen Petronio Company, making rehearsal—not biography—the film's record of how a Cunningham work survives.
