Foundations of Lindy Hop: Charleston Lindy Hop October 3-week series Mondays 10/12, 10/19, 10/26 Please sign up here for the OCT Foundations of Lindy Hop: Charleston 3-week Series Mondays starting 9/14 @ 7:15-8:15pm at TapShop. https://forms.gle/sUTYdwV6MW7tNic89 2326 Summit St, Columbus, OH 7:15pm-8:15 Cost: $17.00/person or Pre-pay $45.00 for all 3 classes/ person * Street parking (Tapshop is on the corner of Maynard and Summit) This class will focus Charleston footwork, and the rhythms that provide the pulse and basic engine to this dance. We will teach mostly 1930's style Charleston with a bit of 1920s. We will do several basic Charleston variations and rhythms, as well as work on the mechanics to dance Charleston with a partner. This is a great class for those dancers coming from our Intro series but is not a pre-requisite. Also a great class, if you want to get back to dancing and revisit those foundations. Come check us out and see what this authentic jazz dance is all about. Wear comfortable clothes, and shoes that are not super grippy, such as leather bottom shoes over running shoes. Be ready to bring a friend, and get your dance on! Our location is a small studio, so space is limited, we are requiring pre-registration.
