About this studio
Agua Revolution is a dance school in Rome's Appio Tuscolano district (Ponte Lungo–Furio Camillo area) that teaches salsa, bachata and related Caribbean styles to students of all ages and levels. The school runs classes in salsa cubana, bachata fusion, bachata sensual, rueda de casino, afro, rumba, and courses in masculine and feminine portamento (posture and presence). New courses for 2025–2026 are offered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with intensive foundation-level salsa and bachata courses also available.
The school is led by Dario Gentile, a salsa and bachata instructor whose teaching philosophy centers on transmitting knowledge while encouraging students to find their own path: "I seek to pass on my knowledge to my students, but I don't want to create copies of myself. I show a way, but it is the student who must walk it." Ilaria and Giulia are also listed as instructors. Dario has competed in professional dance competitions.
Aqua Revolution runs a performance group called Ladies Revolution and organizes events, parties and shows at venues across Rome, including recent performances at Caraibe and Barrio Latino. The school emphasizes that there are no age limits in the Agua family, and classes are taught with both professionalism and a spirit of joy and fun.
Classes are held at the Myster Gym facility, located at Via Gubbio 34b in the 00181 postal district. The school can be reached by phone or email.
