About this studio

Atlanta Dance has been teaching Atlantans to dance for over 25 years. The studio specialises in ballroom dance — American Style Smooth and Rhythm, International Latin and Standard — as well as popular social and club dances including cha cha, rumba, swing, foxtrot, tango, and waltz. The team brings over 60 years of combined professional training experience and an average of twenty years' experience per instructor.

The studio offers private ballroom dance lessons for singles and couples, tailored one-on-one instruction designed to build confidence quickly. Group classes run as four to six week courses, each building a complete program of steps, patterns and technique. All levels are welcomed, and no partner is required to join. The introductory package includes two 30-minute private lessons, one group lesson (the Ballroom Crash Course is recommended), and one free admission to a social dance party, all for $75.

Atlanta Dance is known as the most tenured ballroom dance establishment in Atlanta and has developed a strong reputation for helping wedding couples prepare for their first dance. The instructors work with couples of all ages to choreograph and rehearse wedding dances.

The studio's ballroom social program is the heart of the business, hosting social practice parties where the focus is on creating a safe and friendly environment for all. No partner is required — many patrons attend without one and dance with new friends throughout the night. The studio also develops several competitive dancers alongside its active social community.
