About this studio

BSO Latin Dance teaches bachata, salsa, and related styles across two locations: the flagship studio in Fern Park (Orlando area) and weekly classes in Tampa. Founded on the belief that dance has the power to transform lives, the studio has grown from a small community of passionate dancers into Central Florida's destination for Latin dance education.

Classes run at all levels, from Bachata Foundations (level 1) through Bachata Infinity (level 3), plus Sensual Bachata, Sensual Foundations, Bachata Tradicional, Lady Style, and Salsa. The studio also offers Bachata Solo Dance, Body Movement & Footwork, and unconventional classes like Galactic Yoga, Contemporary Hip-Hop, and Beginner Heels. Progressive Programs are structured 12-week cycles designed to take you from zero to confident social dancer; new cycles start October 5. Drop-in classes run Wednesday through Sunday with no commitment required.

The Orlando flagship studio offers classes Monday through Sunday. Mondays are dedicated to progressive programs. Tuesday hosts team auditions. Wednesday through Thursday and Friday through Sunday feature drop-in classes, with Friday also including socials. Saturday and Sunday drop-ins run 12–6 PM. Tampa offers Bachata Foundations, Body Movement & Footwork, and Sensual Foundations on Thursdays (7:00–9:30 PM) with instructors Anastasia Starbarbie and Jovanny Fuentes.

The team includes bachata specialists Fabiola Santos (focused on Dominican-style movement), Anastasia Starbarbie (international sensual bachata instructor and lady style director), Christian Hines, and many others. Alondra Torres teaches bachata, salsa, and wedding/quinceañera choreography. Ariana Menendez specializes in body movement, hip-hop fusion, and bachata styling. Brenda Rodriguez teaches bachata, salsa, heels, and reggaeton. Larissa Olivera teaches bachata, zouk, and salsa. Private lessons are available with all instructors, tailored to your goals and pace.

No partner is required—the studio rotates partners throughout class so everyone dances with everyone. The first class is just $10. Drop-in classes cost $20 per class or as low as $5 per class with a membership. Progressive program memberships are available; Tampa Starter is $89/month for new dancers and includes access to Orlando benefits, while Tampa Experienced is $129/month. Private lessons range from $100–$120 per hour depending on instructor; couple lessons and group rates are available. The studio offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on memberships.
