Before your first class
Dancehall Niv I is designed for beginners and those wanting to deepen the basics; Afro Fusion Niv I welcomes new dancers; Initiation Breaking/Hip-Hop starts from age 7; fitness classes are adapted for all levels.
You must wear indoor shoes during dance classes.
Dance: 35 CHF drop-in, 165 CHF for 5 courses (2 months), 310 CHF for 10 courses (4 months), 1040–2730 CHF annual (1–3 classes per week).

Back To Basics Studio opened in August 2025 at Rue Baudit 6, 1201 Genève. The studio offers dance classes, fitness and wellness instruction across multiple disciplines and levels.
Dance classes include Dancehall Niv I (Monday 20h–21h15) for beginners and those wanting to deepen the basics, taught by Wayne Kiappy; Dancehall Ados (Wednesday 13h40–14h40, age 13+) also with Wayne Kiappy; Dancehall Niv II (Thursday 20h–21h15); Female Dancehall (Tuesday 18h30–19h45 and 20h–21h15, age 18+, for cis women) taught by Vanessa; Afro Fusion Niv I (Wednesday 18h40–19h55) and Afro Fusion Niv II (Wednesday 20h–21h15) with Thessy; and Breaking/Hip-Hop, with Initiation Breaking/Hip-Hop (Thursday 16h20–17h20, age 7+) and Breaking Intermédiaire (Thursday 17h30–18h30, age 7+).
Fitness and wellness courses include C.A.F, Full Body, Body Shape, Pilates and Yoga. New fitness classes starting late August 2026 are Aero Fit Dance (Wednesday 12h15–13h15), combining cardio with Dancehall, Hip-Hop and Afro rhythms, and Step Fit Dance (Saturday 12h30–13h30).
Dance classes run September to June, following the Geneva school calendar, with annual subscriptions offering 1 course per week (1040 CHF), 2 courses per week (1920 CHF), or 3 courses per week (2730 CHF). Children and teens pay 750 CHF annually. Drop-in options include single classes (35 CHF), 5-course cards (165 CHF, valid 2 months) and 10-course cards (310 CHF, valid 4 months). Fitness courses are more flexible: single classes cost 30 CHF; packs of 5 (140 CHF, valid 5 weeks), 10 (260 CHF, valid 10 weeks), 20 (480 CHF, valid 16 weeks) and 40 courses (880 CHF, valid 30 weeks) are available, as well as annual unlimited membership (145 CHF per month). A mobile app is available for course booking and reservations. The studio offers private coaching and room rental. Annual subscribers have guaranteed places; drop-in and card holders access depends on availability each week. The studio holds a Qualicert certification.
