About this studio
Ballroom dance Paris opened in September 2020 in the 16th arrondissement, steps from avenue de New York. The studio teaches ballroom, Latin American, smooth and rhythm styles, with a community of over 100 members at all levels—beginners, advanced dancers, solo students, couples, and former professionals.
Classes focus on samba, cha-cha-cha, rumba, valse and foxtrot. You can train solo or as a couple. The studio runs group classes (mixed and ladies' style), private lessons and masterclasses. Solo Latin is taught across multiple levels: beginners (Niveau 1), pre-intermediate, and confirmed pre-intermediate. Couples group classes are also available.
Sofiia, the studio's founder, trained in rhythmics from age 8 and competed internationally as a junior dancer, winning competitions in Helsinki, Tampere and Tallin before taking the Saint-Petersburg Championship. She taught dance professionally for around five years until 2013, then worked in corporate roles across Europe. She returned to her passion in 2020 by founding the studio.
The studio creates custom experiences for events including teambuilding and wedding dance preparation. Drop-in classes cost €20 per session. Multi-class packages range from €93 for 5 classes (valid 5 weeks) to €340 for 20 classes (valid 4 months), or €180 for 10 classes (valid 9 weeks). All packages are non-refundable.

Your first visit
You'll join a mixed group of beginners through advanced dancers, training in ballroom or Latin styles depending on your class choice. Expect an hour-long session; drop in for a single class at €20 or commit to a package if you plan to return regularly.

Ballroom dance Paris was created on 19 September 2020 by Sofiia, originally from Saint-Petersburg. After competing internationally as a junior dancer and teaching professionally for around five years until 2013, she worked in corporate roles across Europe before returning to her passion by founding the studio.
