About this studio
Basilea Salsa Club is a salsa association serving the Basel region. The club meets at Aula Petersschulhaus on Peterskirchplatz and runs a regular weekly Rueda de Casino programme on Monday evenings under the group name "Rueda del Lunes".
Beyond Rueda, the club offers a workshop series in Son Cubano and Afrocubano taught by Liudmila Rodriguez Silva. These are pitched at experienced beginners and run at the Corrientes venue in Gundeldingerfeld. Each session includes a 75-minute Son Cubano class (pairwise) and a 75-minute Afrocubano class (solo), with an optional warm-up Son Práctica from 13:15 to 13:50 beforehand. The 2026 workshop dates are 12 September, 10 October, 14 November and 5 December, each beginning at 14:00.
