About this studio
Bejayes Dance Studio in Dayton teaches five different styles of dance to students aged 4 and up. The studio runs both recreational, non-competitive classes and a competitive dance team programme. Recreational classes for ages 4–7 meet Tuesday and Thursday from 6–7:15pm in the Main Studio, with three intro-to-dance levels available. The competition team (ages 8 and up) trains Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
The studio has achieved significant recognition: they are National Champions 2025, with awards for Best Choreography and Best of the Best (3xs). This competitive success reflects the quality of training available to students who join the team.
Beyond classes, Bejayes offers tumbling instruction and hosts a range of studio activities and events. These include studio lock-ins, holiday celebrations, team outings, and a notable award ceremony. The studio also organises a recital and can be booked for parties. Summer camp is available during the off-season.
The dance season begins in September; registration opens for fall/winter classes in advance. New students can try a free trial class before committing. The studio emphasises being family-oriented and community-focused, with a parent committee involved in studio life.
