About this studio
Blake Elder Dance offers group club classes and private instruction focused on social dancing styles. Classes run at Cowboys Red River in Dallas, a dance hall venue where you can learn and then stay to dance the night. The studio is based in Fort Worth and led by Blake Elder, who is driven by helping people learn to dance, whether students, couples preparing wedding choreography, or event hosts.
Club classes are held on Wednesday and Saturday evenings from 7:15 pm to 8:30 pm. Beginner & Intermediate 3-Step runs on Wednesday nights, while Beginner 3-Step & West Coast Swing classes are on Saturday nights. Entry is generally free, and the format encourages you to bring a friend and stay after class for the full club experience.
Private classes are available by appointment for 1-on-1 training. These suit advanced moves, dances not offered in group classes, or choreography for an important event. Event services are also available: Blake Elder DJs for weddings, birthday parties and celebrations, combining curated music, dance lessons tailored to your style, and atmosphere-building.
