About this studio

Bliss Dance Studio opened in March 2025 as a dedicated Bachata space in central Graz. The studio has two rooms: Saal 1 (85m², vinyl floor, mirrors, sound system, air conditioning) and Saal 2 (70m², wooden parquet floor, mirrors, sound system, air conditioning). The entrance area includes changing rooms, bench seating, separate toilets, and a balcony.

Classes run across multiple levels. Beginners start with a neutral Bachata foundation. Improver level introduces Bachata Sensual, Dominican Bachata, and Bachata Moderna. From Intermediate onwards, styles are mixed with emphasis on Sensual Bachata. Intermediate and Advanced classes run for 1.5 hours with dedicated technique work. The studio offers both partner classes (where participants rotate partners) and solo classes focusing on footwork, bodymovement, and technique through short routines. Styling classes are open to all genders and anyone interested.

Teaching is conducted in English or German depending on the group. The curriculum is structured in 16-week semesters divided into two 8-week blocks. Pass options include 1-hour, 1.5-hour, or Extreme passes (unlimited classes at your level and below). You can commit to a single 8-week block or the full 16-week semester.

The studio hosts Bliss Bachata Nights approximately every second Saturday, featuring an open-level pre-party workshop (20:30–21:00) followed by social dancing from 21:00. No partner needed. Upcoming events include a two-day Connection Bootcamp (27–28 June 2026) with guest instructor Gadir focusing on partner connection and self-connection.

The location (Triesterstraße 14) is highly accessible by public transport: tram line 5 (Karlaugürtel stop), bus lines 39, 66, 67 (Karlauplatz). Parking is available in the green zone on Triesterstraße and Herrgottwiesgasse, plus unrestricted parking behind Hofer supermarket. The Citypark APCOA car park is a 5-minute walk (1–3 hours free, 4–5 hours €1.20, then €3 per hour).

The studio also rents both spaces to other instructors and organisations. Rental rates for regular use range from €22–34/hour depending on time and duration. Single events start at €27–38/hour; weekend packages available.
