Zumba at Brighton is genuinely welcoming to all abilities and ages (15+, or 13–15 with a parent/guardian). You don't need any dance experience — the classes use repetition of steps so newcomers pick up the choreography quickly. A typical class burns 300–600 calories, working your major muscle groups while delivering a high-energy cardio session that feels more like a night out than a workout. You can take it at whatever pace feels comfortable for you, and if you have a previous injury, just let Sherryn know via the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire.
The venue offers free on-site parking, and there's no need to pre-book — just turn up and pay £9 on the door in cash or card. Recent attendees consistently praise Sherryn's choreography, energy, and ability to make everyone feel at ease and welcome, regardless of fitness level. Over the years, the studio has hosted many charity Zumbathons, raising over £115,000 for the Martlets Hospice.
