About this studio
Buenos Aires Tango Society is an Argentine Tango studio founded in 2009 by professional dancer Manuela Rivero. The school is one of Amsterdam's leading Argentine Tango schools, known for high quality teaching, a welcoming community and dedication to authentic Argentine Tango.
The studio offers small group classes, private classes, workshops and special projects. Classes are designed to fit dancers of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced students. The teaching approach emphasises strong technique, musical skills and authentic Tango traditions as the foundation for becoming a great social dancer. Teachers are experienced professional dancers committed to helping each student reach their full potential.
Beyond weekly classes, Buenos Aires Tango Society runs private classes, choreography for dance teams, wedding dance choreography, dance training, beginners bootcamps, workshops with guest teachers, a Latin Collab Project, dance practice parties, dance retreats and holidays, corporate events and shows, artistic projects, festivals and performances. The studio also operates a dance boutique.
The studio is located at Tussen de Bogen 63 in central Amsterdam, about 10 minutes walk from Central Station. You can join monthly memberships or purchase class cards with flexible validity periods. A free trial class is available to new members.
